i have straight asian lashes and using this as a base for my mascara makes my lashes and curl last all day without leaving any traces of smudge marks

This is a great eyelash primer to keep those lashes up and curled all day! Even for those with straight, downwards Asian eyelashes, as an Asian myself!
I do agree with the other reviews though, as it's best to use a black or brown mascara after you've allowed the product to dry on your lashes to hide hte light colour of the gel.

It works well to hold lashes in position and isn’t too difficult to remove but if you’re trying to save money, it isn’t necessary. I would recommend it if you have the money to splurge though!

This mascara is like the heroin make mascara, but it's clear. I love this for when I want to do more Natural looks, but I also still want my eyelashes visible. It holds the curls all day Once it dries.

Years ago I used Shiseido mascara base because my eyelashes point straight down and even though a curler will curl them, the moment I applied mascara they would sadly droop back down again. Any other base/primer besides the Shiseido would cause my lashes to drop too, because they were always so wet and heavy, compared to the light and dry Shiseido. When Shiseido discontinued their product, I thought I was out of luck and could never have a nice, full, curled lash look again. Then I found this pmel base!! I'm so happy to find a replacement that works well and is even cheaper than the Shiseido was. Picture shows right eye curled with pmel base and mascara, and left eye curled with mascara only (actually I tried the left eye with pmel base first and then cleaned it off for this pic, otherwise the lashes would be pointing even more downward). Please don't ever discontinue this!!

I've used pmel mascara essence for 5years already. I prime my lashes with it and it holds the curl all day while also adding volume. But I don't wear mascara every day, so main use for pmel essence base is brow gel! I have very long and thick brow hairs, western gels such as benefit 24h don't provide enough hold, but this one does. It has thick, waxy gel consistency and you need to wipe off most product off the wand when it's new, it will get clumpy otherwise- less is more! Brows aren't glued into place, they still have movement and you can re-comb them but stay brushed up all day. Can't be without this product.

Il miglior primer ciglia provato, essendo trasparente lo si può anche usare da solo per un effetto naturale.
Allunga e divide le ciglia senza appiccicarle e si fonde totalmente con il mascara una volta applicato sopra, consiglio di non lasciarlo asciugare ma di applicare subito il mascara dopo il primer.
