The balancer is thin and smoothing while preparing my skin for the next step. The emulsion is also thin but hydrating. I topped it off with the cream which is more like a light balmy texture. The cream absorbed into my skin but also left a bit of a protective film sort of like a superior version of Aquaphor. The star of this set is definthe cream. .
