The gel consistency doesn't make anything sticky at all and instead absorbs into the skin almost completely and automatically. I can now wear this all the time cause my skins really needed to breathe for a moment after so much stress this week. So this really is helpful! Haven't noticed a cooling effect but very nice consistency and lightweight.
