I got black espresso but it really does look like a classic dark brown. Natural but can be thickened. What's REALLY amazing about this is how well it stays on. I always always wear waterproof because mascara always seems to flake off on me, but I swear I can sleep in this and my lashes look exactly the same afterwards. If anything, it's almost impossible to remove with normal cleanser or micellar water. I used to wear it every day because it does such a great job volumizes and does not budge at ALL, but that made it difficult to deal with every day and hard to take off. So now I only wear it when going out all night/swimming/festivals when I don't want makeup to smear at all. Works like a charm :)
