Kel BelEffectiveDecember 2, 2014I have thick coarse (typical Asian hair), since I already have straight hair, so I can not judge the straightening abilities of this product. However, it does make my hair softer, less frizzy and blow drys much quicker. I don't notice that my hair is any shinier than before. I would recommend this product :)
