What is EU Packaging?

Some brands produce different packaging for their products to comply with regulations in various regions. EU Packaging is designed for EU retailers, and usually includes the name and address of the EU Responsible Person (RP). In most cases, the packaging will feature information in English and at least one other European language. What is the difference between EU Packaging, UK Packaging and EU/UK Packaging?

An EU Packaging product displays only the name and address of the EU Responsible Person (RP) on the packaging. Likewise, a UK Packaging product includes only the name and address of the UK RP. An EU/UK Packaging product features the information for both the EU and UK RPs printed on the packaging.

What are “EU Compliant” and “UK Compliant”?

“EU Compliant” indicates that the product includes the EU Responsible Person's (RP) name and address on the packaging, but it does not imply the presence of any specific language. Similarly, “UK Compliant” means the product includes the UK RP's information on the packaging. Are all the products featured at ABW EU/UK Compliant?

Not all products on the website are EU Complaint or UK Compliant, as obtaining either status is dependent on the individual brands. However, we are continuously adding more EU/UK Compliant products to ABW.
