Does not sting around the eyes nor does it melt while it's hot, does not burn and feels comfortable, does not pile. Great as a makeup base, honestly had the best photoshoot in my life. Makeup with it lasts all day. Absolutely great for oily skin.

VCHAwesome sunscreenFebruary 25, 2024I have just started using this sunscreen and I have to say, it is fast becoming my favourite! The texture is beautiful, easily absorbed (probably due to the alcohol as pointed out by other reviews), no white cast, and most importantly this is the only sunscreen that doesn’t pill over layers of other skincare! I will need to finish the tube for the final verdict, but so far I am loving this sunscreen, and dare I say, I may end up loving this better than my HG (the other Dr Ceuracle sunscreen).

I’m also fairly picky with my UV filters, so considering the sunscreen scandal form last year I will definitely say I’m a tough customer and this ticks all the boxes for me. Quick absorption time, check. Non drying, check. Non greasy, check. No whitecast, check. This is the perfect sunscreen and the best part is that it works! If you have hang ups with any of the ingredients just give it a try. The alcohol doesn’t make it drying and the essential oils doesn’t irritate the face at all! Unless your flooding your entire face and eyes with sunscreen it shouldn’t sting.Skin left sensitiveJune 16, 2022As much as I still love this sunscreen for the reasons stated above. I find with further use that the alcohol while not drying to the skin with the proper use of a watery toner, sensitizes my skin. I may circle back again in the future but my skins barrier is at the best it’s ever been and if I still find it sensitizing I don’t think this is the most suitable for someone with more sensitive skin/rosacea.This is a follow up follow up reviewJuly 8, 2022I had said earlier that this can sensitize the skin, but based on my experience if you live in a hot humid climate/it’s more warm where you’re at. As it is for me. The irritation is no more. It still has a great absorbing time and no breakouts, if you stick to a solid skincare routine.
